Asda Superstore open for business at Chatham Waters

The 73,000sq ft. supermarket forms part of the enormous Chatham Waters development.

The petrol station has been in business for a couple of weeks and the shop, which will open 24 hours, will have George clothing, an optician, a fish counter and a create your own pizza counter.

Legal & General Forward Funds £39.6million ASDA Superstore at Chatham Waters, Kick-Starting Major Kent Regeneration Scheme

10th April 2014

Peel announces that Legal & General has forward funded a 73,300 sq. ft. Asda Superstore at Chatham Docks, Chatham Waters, Kent, allowing it to commence works on its circa £650 million development scheme.

Once complete, the wider mixed-use dockside regeneration project, which is being undertaken by developer Peel and comprises 950 residential units, 430,000 sq ft of offices and a hotel, along with associated infrastructure, is expected to create over 3,500 jobs.
